Forestry specific Common Core programs, including Forestry Pit and Road Construction Equipment Operator Training Program Common Core and Mechanical Harvesting Equipment Operator Grooming Program Common Core are delivered at NORCAT's Thunder Bay location.

The Surface and Underground Diamond Driller Assistant Mutual Core Program was developed by NORCAT in compliance with the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities (MLTSD) standards. Upon successful completion of this program, each trainee will obtain accreditation and will be registered with the MLTSD for Surface and Clandestine Diamond Driller Banana (#770200 and #770150).

This five-calendar week (200 hours) plan combines both theory and practical hands-on, experiential learning in an operating mine environs. Trainees will learn to operate various pieces of equipment and the prophylactic requirements and authorities guidelines that you must understand to successfully complete the programme.

#770225 - Basic Underground Hard Stone Mine Service Types Common Core

Service Type Common Cadre is required to be completed before an employee can perform whatever cloak-and-dagger piece of work. This level of safety training has proven useful to individuals who wish to secure employment with mining service contractors.

Upon successful completion of the plan, plus WHMIS training or proof of WHMIS training, NORCAT will provide the trainee with a NORCAT carte plus all documentation of the Service Blazon common cadre training. NORCAT does not register the Service Type Common Core.

#770010 - Underground Hard Stone Miner Common Core

The Hugger-mugger Difficult Rock Miner Mutual Core program incorporates 2 days of theory, including information from the Occupational Health and Condom Act as information technology pertains to the Common Core modules, as well as an in-depth practical session for the remaining working days of the programme (5 weeks full). #770121 - First Line Surreptitious Mine Supervisor – Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core

To be accredited in the Beginning Line Secret Mine Supervisor – Undercover Hard Rock Miner Common Core Program, the employee must accept demonstrated competency in each of the 770121 Program Modules.

Courses are delivered over a minimum three month catamenia with one week each month for classroom and field instruction. A last complete audit and test is required after four to six months on the job. All candidates must be employed by a sponsor employer WITH APPROVED MLTSD SIGNING Potency.
